How long has it been? Over a month? No, but close!
I have too much happening in the offline world right now; I haven’t been reading blog, writing blogs or all that social media jazz. So, here’s taking some time to write a post I have been wanting to for so, so long.
John from Start Your Novel was kind enough to nominate me for an Inspiring Blog Award. I didn’t know I was inspiring, but if he think so, I will bask in the glory!
This award comes with a challenge. You have to share seven of your favorite words or phrases, as well as reveal seven little-known facts about yourself. Finally you have to nominate seven other bloggers for the Inspiring Blog Award. Here goes:
Seven words / phrases :
This one is tricky because I have a lot of favorite Urdu / Hindi phrases too. I will try my best translating but the fun is knowing them in the language they come from.
1. I will wear my heart upon my sleeve
2. Aiwai (It is a Hindi word, not pronounced as you are pronouncing it, it means just like that, no reason)
3. Lafz (Urdu, meaning word. I like the sound of it)
4. Thingumbob (I read this on John’s list and now I love it)
5. Kvetch
6. Et tu, Brute
7. In a pickle
Seven little known facts about me :
1. If you haven’t realized, I am a Shakespeare fan.
2. I have socks that have little hearts printed on them.
3. I am way too punctual. I actually come before the party begins.
4. I have difficulty remembering names and connecting them to faces.
5. Getting addicted to anything is easy for me.
6. But then, I get bored quickly too.
7. When I was in college, I was a super nerd.
Seven Nominees :
Here are seven people who have inspired me in the online world :
1. Janine Ripper
2. Muriel Jacques
3. Roy Ackerman
4. Samantha Bangayan
5. Holly Jahangiri
6. Bill Dorman
7. Harleena Singh
They just make the online world so much more sensible. Thank you!
