Happy Birthday to my Blog

So, there! It has been one year and one heck of an amazing year in the blogging world!
Yes, on 16th my blog turned one and why am I so late with the posts? Because I was busy self hosting the new one. I have my own domain. I have a new blog. Yay for me! After about a year of doing it on blogger and for free I decided to shift to WordPress. Not that I have anything against blogger, but this is something I have been wanting to do for so long. And it finally happened!
Roy and Janine helped me out with deciding the name and I went with Hajra Kvetches! After a lot of head banging and researching and almost irritating the life out of so many people, a friend of mine stepped up!!
This birthday a tribute to the bloggers who got me here! Yes, one year and it has been loads of fun but I owe it all to some amazing people who always come by, comment and say such nice things about the blog. Also, they are such wonderful people and have the best of things to say! And I am so in love with their blogs as well!
So, this birthday, a tribute to some of the most wonderful bloggers I know! You all just made blogging so much more easier and fun for me.
Janine Ripper: I cannot think of my blogging journey without mentioning Janine. Both of us started blogging at the same time and we met through a discussion on LinkedIn. And my blogging life has never been the same. Her posts are so much fun to read and her blog is an amazing reflection on her journey. Also, she keeps throwing these amazing awards at me and some challenges too. And we started a blogging group together and it seems to be just getting better! Also, her birthday is coming up, go wish her!
Roy Ackerman: He is just one of the most smartest blogger ever! He reads studies like I read cartoon strips, million in a day maybe! And he always comes by my blog to give some of his love! Also, I always learn something from his blog every time I visit. Like one Bollywood actress says “There is more opinion than information around”. Not true, with Roy; he gives loads of information and has some wonderful opinions. Always a pleasure to read and to learn from. And he is a doctor!
Brankica Underwood: Is there a blogger who doesn’t her? If you are one who doesn’t have any clue about who I am talking now, please do stop reading my blog and go visit her’s right NOW! Totally worth it. She is like the amazing guru of blogging and she is such a pleasure to know. When I entered this blogging contest, she was the first one to comment and that made all the difference to me. Brankica reading my post…Gulp! Liking it…double gulp! And she helped me win it. And she can use the gun… can anyone get any cooler than this?
Samantha Bangayan: Full of energy, full of loveliness and so much fun to know. She makes sure she reads every post and she comments very thoughtfully! And her posts are always a treat to read too. She helped me like crazy winning the blogging contest; she tweeted it every day and shared it more often than me too. Really, why didn’t we meet in school?
Bill Dorman: He was known as the Invisible Guy but his total awesomeness and James Bond like persona changes all that. He is everywhere and he has this fantabulous sense of humor. If you don’t know him…really, are you living under a rock? Also, he went the self hosted way and is all about being me! He is just way too cool!
John Falchetto: I came across his blog recently and totally love it! And he has lived in Dubai… so I am going to be partial to him! His blogs have this amazing personal touch and are such refreshing reads! One year…and I didn’t visit his blog earlier, what a waste. Should have been there earlier… 
Melanie Kissell: We are team members and we won blogging contest together. Ok, the other way round, we entered blogging contest, weboth won it and now we are team members at We Blog Better. Melanie has this blogging group of which I am a part and hats off to the lady to come up with such amazing ideas! Also, a lady with such amazing humor… hard to find!
Stuart Mills: Amazing wisdom for a 25 year old and an even lovely blogger. Armed with a loving girlfriend, Sam and an awesome blog, this guy just is such a pleasure to read. His ways of Unlocking the doors in your life is more than helpful and yes, he is soon becoming the next Bill Dorman… I find him everywhere!
Thanks to you guys! You make blogging so much fun and it has been pleasure knowing you all Yay to you all for making this one year so lovely.
Happy belated blogaversary! We celebrated together too and I'm so grateful everyday that you allowed me into your bloggers group. Hope you have many more years of blogging :)

Hajra, Many happy returns! Can't believe it's only one year since you started blogging as you have achieved so much in that time. You have been a great motivation and inspiration to me and other bloggers. Probably, without you and Janine, I'd have given up by now for which I thank you. Keep on going like you have and you will become one of the best, I'm sure. You also chose several of my favorite bloggers to thank and I'm going to check the ones I don't know because I'm sure I'm missing something.
Hey Penelope, Thanks so much! I can't believe it has been one year of kvetching... really! :) I am so honored to know you through your blog, you show such amazing talent that is admirable. And when that book is finished and becomes a best seller it would be so much more fun! We would be like "Oh, my I know this writer! :) Check them out, they are the sweetest!

Happy birthday to your blog Hajra! It's a huge feet. I've been blogging just over a year myself and have seen a lot of bloggers fall off the scene. Blogging takes up a lot of time so I understand the commitment that you've put forth. I wish you the best of luck in year 2!
